Emily Irene VanCamp who initially set out to become a professional dancer became interested in acting after visiting her sister Katie in the making of the movie Ladies Room. The acting profession began after she started taking classes. She also got appearances on television shows in her homeland of Canada. A few of the television shows she starred in include Do You afraid to be in the Dark? Radio Active. VanCamp had a big success in his career when being cast on Glory Days, the WB thriller. Even even though the show received great reviews, it unfortunately had to be pulled after only 9 episodes due to the low ratings. The actress who was born on 12 May 1986, quickly landed another part in Everwood. She played Amy Abbott. Her performance resulted in her being named the Young Artist Award nominee and for four Teen Choice Awards.
